Practical superconductor development for electrical power applications

Abstract: Development of useful high-critical-temperature (high-Tc) superconductors requires synthesis of superconducting compounds; fabrication of wires, tapes, and films from these compounds; production of composite structures that incorporate stabilizers or insulators; and design and testing of efficient components.
