Precision feeding of lactating sows: implementation and evaluation of a decision support system in farm conditions

Abstract: Precision feeding (PF) aims to provide the right amount of nutrients at the right time for each animal. Lactating sows generally receive the same diet, which either results in insufficient supply and body reserve mobilization, or excessive supply and high nutrient excretion.
