Abstract: Monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) plays a crucial role in the degradation of 2‐arachidonoylglycerol (2‐AG), one of the major endocannabinoids in the brain. Inhibiting MAGL could lead to increased levels of 2‐AG, which showed beneficial effects on pain management, anxiety, inflammation, and neuroprotection.
