Abstract: Adenosine 5′‐monophosphate (AMP)‐activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a highly conserved eukaryotic enzyme discovered as a key regulator of cellular energy homeostasis, with anti‐inflammation, antioxidative stress, anticancer, and antifibrosis beneficial effects.
