Preconception management of thyroid dysfunction

Abstract: Uncorrected thyroid dysfunction in pregnancy has well-recognized deleterious effects on foetal and maternal health. The early gestation period is one of the critical foetal vulnerability during which maternal thyroid dysfunction may have lasting repercussions.
