Predicting factors affecting business operations during pandemic COVID-19

Abstract: PurposeThe global COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly overwhelmed our societies, shocked the global economy and disturbed normal business operations. While such impacts of COVID-19 are becoming clearer, the effects of the disease on business operations are more common. This study mainly focuses on identifying the factors that affect the smooth operation of businesses during a pandemic situation.Design/methodology/approachAnalytical hierarchy process (AHP) method was used to rate the result index. “…the mentha when Fertilizing it with iron and Zinc. It also conforms with the results of [46] , when treating some medical Extractor plant such as agafa and Opuntia ficus with Auxine acid and gibberellin, led to the increase of its content of active materials. The effect of spraying with growth regulators and micro nutrients may be due to the increase of the formation of solid compounds ( Oxygenic compounds ) , and its heaping in the volatile oil which reflects on giving high value of the qualitative weight and the density of the volatile oil [47].…”

“…Patients should be cautiously observed for any potential adverse effects during this time, especially gastrointestinal and hypersensitivity reactions. 162 Sustained weight loss (∼13.5%) was observed over an 8-week treatment period in a nonhuman primate model upon diet-induced obesity. 163 Setmelanotide is a pro-opiomelanocortin derived peptide that is an agonist of the melanocortin 4 receptor (MC4R), which regulates satiety and food intake.…”

“…160,161 Setmelanotide comes in a 1 mL multidose vial (concentration -10 mg mL −1 ), and subcutaneous injection is the preferred method of administration. 162 The initial dose is 1 mg (0.1 mL) injected daily for two weeks for children between the ages of 6-12 years old. Patients should be cautiously observed for any potential adverse effects during this time, especially gastrointestinal and hypersensitivity reactions.…”

“…As Eitler (2014) reminds us, however, the role of animals cannot simply be cast as invariant and hence as a priori given – that is, as a mere consequence of supposedly essential species-level qualities (see also Haraway, 2003; Howell, 2018). There is a pressing need to historicize animal behaviour and affect in order to make space for the animals themselves as historical agents and contexts of action (Hussain, 2023c). To qualify the involvement of animals in human material, social, and cognitive pasts arguably requires detailed contextual analysis of historically specific conditions of interspecies encounter, negotiation, and facilitation (Haraway, 2003, 2008; Tsing, 2012), and therefore depends on multi-stranded, synthetic investigations that couple conceptual and data-driven analyses in bold yet powerful ways.…”

“…From an archaeological point of view, beavers frame a particularly interesting case of human-nonhuman intersection since they provide a paramount example of a species who acts upon and alters the ecology of its human co-inhabitants and in this way intercedes with human endeavours (Hjørungdal, 2019b; Hussain, 2023c; Riede, 2019). Another reason for focussing on the beaver is because previous research on the place of animal others in earlier prehistory has mostly privileged larger mammals – what Hjørungdal (2019b) has referred to as the ‘big hunter supremacy’ bias.…”
