Predicting the Amplitude of Thermoacoustic Instability Using Universal Scaling Behaviour

Abstract: The complex interaction between the turbulent flow, combustion and the acoustic field in gas turbine engines often results in thermoacoustic instability that produces ruinously high-amplitude pressure oscillations.
