Predicting the Likelihood of Lodging CMBS Loan Default

Abstract: This study investigates whether the traditional underwriting loan metrics, loan-to-value (LTV), debt coverage ratio (DSCR), and debt yield (DY) ratio, can predict lodging commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan defaults.
