Abstract:Due to the geometric distortion in distorted hydraulic laboratory experiments, velocity profile cannot maintain as constant as required by the traditional criteria. Scaling effects, which lack quantitative researches, cannot be avoided even if the Froude and drag coefficient similitude criteria were satisfied.
