Prediction of Crack Toughness of Rubber Under Impact Loading Conditions

Abstract: Summary Sulphur‐crosslinked styrene–butadiene vulcanizate filled with carbon black up to 50 parts per hundred rubber (phr) were mainly investigating using an instrumented impact tensile tester. The experimentally determined and the calculated critical J‐values are in a good agreement.
