Prediction of magnetically induced vibration in a PMSM using time stretched pulse excitation

Abstract: This paper presents a method to predict magnetically induced vibration in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using time stretched pulse (TSP) excitation. The TSP signal has high signal to noise ratio and flat frequency spectrum, and it can be easily generated by MATLAB in order to excite a PMSM.
