Abstract:The effect of kinematic hardening on springback predictions in sheet metals was rigorously clarified using a modular bending-under-tension test. DP600 sheet samples were tested over a wide range of tool radii and tension forces. Specifically modified isotropic hardening and combined isotropickinematic hardening models were compared, which provide strictly identical predictions under monotonic loading. Loading configurations (combinations of tool radius and sheet tension) were identified which require the use o… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
