Abstract:The prediction of torque capacity in circular Concrete-Filled Double-Skin Tubular (CFDST) members under pure torsion is considered vital for structural design and analysis. In this study, torque capacity is predicted using machine learning (ML) algorithms, such as Categorical Boosting (CatBoost), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM), Random Forest (RF), and Decision Tree (DT), which are employed. The interpretation of the results is conducted using Shapley Additive Explanations … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
