Abstract: Objetivos: describir una muestra de pacientes traqueostomizados con requerimiento de ventilación mecánica prolongada que ingresaron a un centro de desvinculación, analizar su evolución y determinar los predictores de fracaso de desvinculación de la ventilación mecánica y de mortalidad.
