Predictors and outcomes of acute kidney injury after thoracic aortic endograft repair

Abstract: Preoperative poor renal function, blood transfusions, and the thoracoabdominal extent of the aortic disease were the most important predictors for AKI.

[22] Improved quantification of risk for the development of AKI following major vascular surgery would allow more informed patient decision-making while allowing clinicians an opportunity to provide earlier preventive care by adjusting the modifiable risk factors of AKI.
