Predictors of Coronary Atherosclerosis: HSP70, Markers of Oxidative Stress and Endothelial Dysfunction

Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of HSP70, and markers of oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction, as determinants of the severity of coronary atherosclerosis. The study revealed significant differences between patient groups with and without coronary atherosclerosis in terms of HSP70, superoxide dismutase, total homocysteine (tHcy) and markers of oxidative modification of proteins.
