Prehospital Care of Coronary Artery Disease and Its Major Risk Factors in Geropsychiatric Inpatients

Abstract: Background: Older adults with serious mental illness have a high prevalence of coronary artery disease and of its major risk factors, that is, arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes mellitus.
