Preliminary Investigation of Some Blanket Damping Treatment Variables

Abstract

An investigation of the dependence of vibration damping capacity on frequency, septum weight, blanket density, and blanket thickness was carried out by means of thick plate decay rate apparatus for several fibrous-glass-blanket-septum configurations. Correlations between these parameters will be presented.
