“…Na 2 Cr 2 O 7 (Merck, AR grade) was used as received. cis-[Cr(phen) 2 (OH 2 ) 2 ](NO 3 ) 3 .2.5H 2 O was prepared according to the method of Inskeep and co-workers [28,29] and was recrystallized from 0.1 M HNO 3 [29].
