Prenatal exposure to antidepressants and depressed maternal mood alter trajectory of infant speech perception

Abstract: Language acquisition reflects a complex interplay between biology and early experience. Psychotropic medication exposure has been shown to alter neural plasticity and shift sensitive periods in perceptual development.
