“…By probing the carrier dynamics at ZnO/P3HT interfaces, they have found that the interfacial molecules can play the role of assisting charge separation and suppression of back recombination at interfaces, which accounts for the observed enhanced short circuit current (Jsc) and open circuit voltage (Voc) in photovoltaic performance. Ji et al (2010) demonstrated a hybrid solar cell which was made by blending nanocrystalline ZnO and conjugated polymer regioregular P3HT as the active layer of the solar cell. It can be seen that the efficiency of this new type of solar cells obviously varied as the size and morphology of ZnO nanostructures.…”
