“…The synthesis of Nd 2 Zr 2 O 7 by several precursor routes such as the sol-gel and citrate methods has also been reported [12][13][14][15] [12,13]. Zhang assigns Nd 2 Zr 2 O 7 synthesised at 600 °C (for ten minutes) to the pyrochlore structure despite the PXRD data showing a poorly crystalline sample [15].…”

“…One of the considerable and attractive nanoscale materials is Ln 2 Zr 2 O 7 -kind ternary oxides (Ln is a lanthanide ion) that they find applications in high-temperature fuel cell, photocatalyst, oxide conductor, fluorescence centers, oxygen monitoring sensors, gas turbines, actinide transmutation, oxidation catalysts and nuclear waste form owing to their excellent and remarkable characteristics [5][6][7][8][9][10]. To date, different ways, such as hydrothermal, sol-gel combined electrospinning, complex precipitation, Pechini polymeric route, solid-state reaction and sol-gel have been presented for the production of Ln 2 Zr 2 O 7 [11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]. The synthesis of Ln 2 Zr 2 O 7 and its nanocomposites through Pechini polymeric approach as friendly to the environment way provides a reliable, simple and cost effective process to control their grain size, shape and purity.…”
