Abstract: Porous Ni-Mn-Ga shape memory alloys (SMAs) were prepared by powder metallurgy using NaCl as a pore-forming agent with an average pore size of 20–30 μm. The microstructure, phase transformation, superelasticity, and elastocaloric properties of the porous alloys were investigated. The prepared porous alloy had a uniform pore distribution and interconnected microchannels were formed.
