“…Moreover, both the SEM image and the EDX mapping of GF/PANI 4:1 in Figure 2 e–h exhibits a uniform distribution of PANI covered on the graphene sheets forming a continuous network. However, the entanglement of fibers gets intensified with an increasing width in GF/PANI 3:1 , indicating the overdose of AN will lead to serious agglomeration [ 24 , 25 ]. Additionally, according to the electrical conductivity (σ) of each filler in Figure S1 a, the GF/PANI 4:1 also exhibits the highest σ up to 32.58 S m −1 , suggesting the presence of fibrous conductive PANI has successfully connected the graphene sheets to provide effective pathways for electron transportation.…”

“…Since the intensity of the D ′ band is inversely proportional to the content of sp 3 -hybridized carbon, its appearance verifies the elimination of the predominant number of oxygen groups, although still indicating the introduction of vacancy defects, graphene edges, or folds [ 62 ]. The nature of the D 4 band is less unambiguous, being attributed to either the presence of polyene chains, sp 3 -hybridized carbon, or functionalization by various groups, such as amines [ 63 , 64 , 65 ]. Considering the absence of this band in the GO spectrum and introduction of thiols, the latter interpretation is regarded as the most relevant one, although further studies are needed on this question.…”

“…Another important piece of information extracted from cluster 1 is that the application of graphene has been promising in this field, with its strong correlation with the performance, stability, and degradation of PANI membranes. Studies show that graphene-based PANI membranes exhibit improved structure and electrochemical performance [53][54][55][56].…”
