Abstract: The zirconium‐based metal–organic framework material (UiO‐66‐NH2) was synthesized by solvothermal method, and its excellent adsorption performance was used to combine it with the phosphorus‐based flame retardant triethyl phosphate (TEP) and to improve the flame retardant and smoke suppression properties of epoxy resin (EP).
