Abstract:Rapid hemostasis, biosafety, and adaptability to different bleeding sites are the focus of research on hemostatic materials. In this work, an efficient and simple preparation of aldehyde starch hemostatic microspheres (ASHMs) crosslinked with L-cystine dimethyl ester was developed. Through a series of physicochemical parameters and in vitro and in vivo hemostatic properties measurements, the results showed that under the optimal crosslinking degree, ASHMs had a regular and uniform spherical shape, and it had a… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
