“…The phases with one Tl-O layer, especially TlBa 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O z (Tl-1223, T c = 115 K), are good candidates for coated conductor power applications because of their stronger interlayer coupling between Cu-O planes, where as phases with two Tl-O layers (Tl 2 Ba 2 CaCu 2 O z , Tl-2212, T c = 110 K and Tl 2 Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O z , Tl-2223, T c = 125 K) are promising for passive microwave devices [1]. The chemical solution routes of the deposition-like Screen printing [2] electrochemical route [3][4][5] and spray pyrolysis [6][7][8] are preferred for preparing large-scale coatings in industry because of easier production and their low capital costs.
