“…The method's accuracy was validated using the following certifi ed reference materials (CRM): Tea Leaves (INCT-TL-1), Mixed Polish Herbs (INCT-MPH-2) [Dybczyński et al, 2004] and Tea (NCS ZC 73014, China National Analysis Center for Iron and Steel, Beijing, China).…”

“…Data for samples were considered only if it matched with the certified values for the RMs. Mean±SD data for INCT MPH-2 along with certified/ information values [34], error percentage, relative standard deviation (RSD) percentage, and Z scores are listed in Table 3. It is observed that our data match well within ±5-10% of the certified values with the exception of a few elements such as Ce, Cl, Co, Cu, Hf, Hg, and Zn, but all Z score values are between ±1.90 except for Ce and Sm suggesting our data to be within 99% confidence limit.…”

“…These were stored in precleaned polyethylene capped bottles. RMs Peach leaves (SRM 1547) [33] and Mixed Polish Herbs (MPH-2) [34] procured from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA, and the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology (INCT), Poland, respectively, were used as such.…”

“…In our laboratory the certification of the candidate reference materials is performed on the basis of world-wide interlaboratory comparison and proven data evaluation methodology [16,17,18]. The uncertainty associated with the central value combines the uncertainty due to dispersion of analytical results obtained by various methods (after rejection of outliers), i.e.…”

“…The uncertainty associated with the central value combines the uncertainty due to dispersion of analytical results obtained by various methods (after rejection of outliers), i.e. analytical variance, and the uncertainty due to estimation of long term stability of the CRM [17,18].…”
