Abstract:Phase change materials (PCMs) are broadly adopted in buildings and other applications because of their excellent energy storage effect. However, aqueous phase change materials are less reported. In this article, a waterborne polyurethane with phase change functionality (WPU-A) was prepared and modified with trimethylolpropane (TMP) and hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA); and then allowed to cross-link with a waterborne polyurethane (WPU-B) with PTMG as the soft segment to produce a multicross-linked, two-compone… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
