The new phosphazene derivative containing a 4-quinazolinone group, 2,2-bis[4-(4-quinazolinone)phenoxy]-4,4,6,6bis[spiro(2ʹ,2ʹʹ-dioxy-1ʹ,1ʹʹ-biphenylyl)]cyclotriphosphazene (4) was synthesised from the reaction of 3 with anthranilamide in the presence of NaHSO 3 in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF).
