Abstract:ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase (AGPase), which is a key enzyme in the starch biosynthesis pathway, plays a critical role in barley grain development. Despite its importance, the regulatory mechanisms governing AGPase expression, particularly the influence of plant hormones, remain poorly understood in barley.
