Preparation of carbon‐14 labeled 2‐phenyl‐3‐[p‐(2‐diethylaminoethoxy) phenyl]‐6‐methoxyindene hydrochloride

Abstract

2‐Phenyl‐3‐[p‐(2‐diethylaminoethoxy)phenyl]‐6‐methoxyindene‐314C hydrochloride was prepared from phenylacetic acid‐1‐14C in a four step sequence of reactions. The final product was obtained in 12.5% yield at a specific activity of 0.79 mCi per mM.
