Abstract:Innovative adhesive bio-films were developed for antimicrobial wound bandages. The bio-films are prepared by blending natural polymers such as sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and sodium alginate with a surfactant as Tween(80) and loaded with Linezolid drug as antimicrobial agents.
