Preparation of iron‐based MIL‐101 functionalized polydopamine@Fe3O4 magnetic composites for extracting sulfonylurea herbicides from environmental water and vegetable samples

Abstract: Here, we describe a simple one-pot solvothermal method for synthesizing MIL-101(Fe)@polydopamine@Fe O composites from polydopamine-modified Fe O particles. The composite was used as a magnetic adsorbent to rapidly extract sulfonylurea herbicides. The herbicides were then analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography. The best possible extraction efficiencies were achieved by optimizing the most important extraction parameters, including desorption conditions, extraction time, adsorbent dose, salt concentr… Show more

“…The band at 756 cm −1 is characteristic of benzene rings, attributing to the C-H bending vibration. The band at 542 cm −1 is ascribed to the stretching vibration of Fe–O band in MIL-101(Fe) framework [33]. In the Ag/AgCl/ MIL-101(Fe), the absorption peaks at 1602, 1393, 756 and 542 cm −1 are the characteristic absorptions of MIL-101(Fe), while the peak around 668 cm −1 is the typical AgCl absorption peak, which is evidence the presence of AgCl on the surface of the MIL-101(Fe).…”

“…Another time in 2018, Deng and co‐workers used MSPE to extract sulfonylurea herbicides (SUHs) from environmental water and vegetable samples . To that end, they synthesized magnetic MIL‐101(Fe)@PDA@Fe 3 O 4 composite to collect SUHs from environmental water and vegetable samples.…”

“…Finally, an efficient MSPE method was established. This was combined with HPLC for the pretreatment and determination of sulfonylurea herbicides (Deng et al., 2018). Additionally, MIL‐101(Cr)‐based composites were utilized for the extraction of pyrethroids from tea samples (Lu, He, Wang, Liu, & Hou, 2018).…”
