Abstract:Background: Karkataka Taila (KT) is virgin coconut oil (VCO) based Rasayana formulation that is enriched with the flesh of freshwater edible crab, Scylla serrata, used to treat Parkinson's Disease (PD) or Kampavata by local Ayurveda practitioners of Kerala state.
