“…After stirring first reading was noted then dispersion was put under ion to Ag NPs was higher using the Diospyros lotus plant leaf extract. Abbasi et al [51] synthesized Ag NPs from Allium sativum. UV-Vis spectra of dark brown colored mixture of Allium sativum extract band AgNO 3 showed optimum absorbance at 400-410 nm.…”

“…Limited information is available regarding AgNPs as bio-degraders. [ 70 ] found that AgNPs as adsorbents can remove 85% hydrocarbons (Phenanthrene > Pyrene > Anthracene). Some of the previous studies were focused on understanding the role of metallic nanoparticles to degrade crude oil in the laboratory.…”

“…The FT-IR spectra of GE-mediated Ag NPs revealed changes in vibration frequencies from 3256, 2940, 1620, and 1392 cm −1 to 3302, 2934, 1614, and 1390 cm −1 , suggesting the reduction of silver ions and the capping and stability of newly formed silver nanoparticles through the interaction with biomolecules like alcohols, terpenes, tannins, phenols, and terpenoids [68]. An additional peak at 514 cm −1 in Ag NPs originated due to the formation of a metal-oxygen bond [70]. The flavonoid and terpenoid compounds in garlic extract are found to be reducing agents in garlic extract to convert the Ag + to Ag 0 during the green synthesis method [24,52,71,72].…”
