Preparation of spunlaced viscose/PANI-ZnO/GO fiber membrane and its performance of photocatalytic decolorization

Abstract: In order to solve the increasingly serious problem of printing and dyeing wastewater pollution, a kind of novel, efficient, and reusable spunlaced viscose/polyaniline-ZnO/GO fibrous membrane was fabricated in this work. Specifically, spunlaced viscose/polyaniline conductive fibrous membrane was firstly prepared by in-situ growth method, followed with the growth of zinc oxide (ZnO) and graphene oxide (GO) via the hydrothermal route to obtain spunlaced viscose/PANI-ZnO/GO fibrous membrane (SV@PANI-ZnO/GO membran… Show more

“…Ternary systems are more useful for practical applications ( Table 2 ) but also more difficult to interpret because each component can participate in dye adsorption. The latest examples are: attapulgite/ g -carbon nitride [ 112 ]; bismuth(III) oxyiodide/reduced graphene oxide [ 10 ]; cerium dioxide/polystyrene [ 113 ]; cobalt/zinc ferrite [ 90 ]; sodium bismuthate/polycarbonate [ 114 ]; titanium dioxide/cadmium sulfide [ 97 ]; titanium dioxide/chitosan [ 115 ]; titanium dioxide/poly(vinylidene fluoride) [ 84 , 85 ]; zinc oxide/graphene oxide/viscose [ 116 ]; zinc/magnetite [ 117 , 118 ].…”

“…4,5 In recent years, various methods for the remediation of wastewater from pollutants have been explored. These include biodegradation and bioadsorption, 6,7 physical adsorption, 8 oxidation reduction method, 9 photocatalytic degradation, [10][11][12][13] ionic resin and membrane filtration. 14,15 Adsorption method is noted as one of the most effective methods to remove various organic pollutants in water due to its advantages in operation cost, simplicity, removal efficiency and practicability.…”
