Abstract:In this paper, temperature-sensitive PET fabrics were prepared by Ar-plasma-induced simultaneous grafting Ploy-N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAAm) onto PET fabric. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to identify the structure of the grafted fabric. Then the surface morphology of the grafted fabric was observed from scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and AFM. The results show that the PNIPAAm was grafted onto PET fabrics, respectively. The grafted PET fabrics are characterized by differential sc… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
