“…oxygen tetrahedrons, migrate towards the positively charged electrode. [19] Zirconium phosphate is highly acidic owing to its large number of phosphate groups; its isoelectric point should therefore occur at a low pH, as with zeolites. On application of a constant voltage to electrodes, zirconium phosphate in slurry deposits only foam that is negatively charged.…”

“…Pervaporation studies with a NaA membrane have been previously reported for water removal from highly concentrated 2-propanol solutions. Related results showed that NaA and ZSM-5 membranes achieved a very high separation factor and good permeation flux for removal of water (Abdollahi et al, 2007;Malekpour et al, 2008). Table 1 shows the separation factors and fluxes obtained in the pervaporation of 90 wt% 2-propanolwater solutions by as-synthesized membranes.…”

“…Since Mintova et al successfully prepared a thin continuous ZSM‐5 film on quartz substrate by organic template‐free synthesis route, as attracted an increasing interest for preparation of the ZSM‐5 membranes and films . Many attempts were made to obtain a continuous defect‐free ZSM‐5 membranes by this synthesis route for the application to separate water from isopropanol/water mixture . Noack et al reported the preparation of ZSM‐5 membranes on porous support from a synthesis gel with Si/Al about 50 without organic template.…”
