“…Vinylphosphine has been prepared starting from dimethylvinylphosphonate precursor according to the procedure described by Cabioch and Denis (10). The P-dideuterated compound was obtained by the same procedure but using lithium aluminum deuteride (98 atom % D) and aluminum trichloride in tetraglyme as reducing agent (␦ P -135.2 ppm, 1 J PD ϭ 30.7 Hz (quint)).…”

“…All solvents were dried by refluxing over conventional drying agents. The compounds [(g 5 -C 5 H 5 )Fe(g 6 -C 6 H 6 )][PF 6 ], 19 a-methyl(vinyl)phosphine, 20 (2-methylpropenyl)phosphine and allylphosphine, 21 phenylphosphine, 22 allyl(phenyl)phosphine, 23 syn,syn-1,5,9-triethyl-1,5,9-triphosphacyclododecane, 2 syn,syn-1,5,9-triphenyl-1,5,9-triphosphacyclododecane, 17 were prepared by literature methods. [(g 5 -C 5 H 5 )Fe(g 6 -C 6 H 6 )][PF 6 ] was purified by extraction into acetone, filtration through Celite R and evaporation in vacuo followed by recrystallisation from an acetone/diethyl ether mixture in order to remove aluminium containing impurities.…”

“…At the MP2 level, the energy procedure described by Cabioch and Denis (4). A brief sum-difference is about 3 kJrmol 01 , while at the HF level, it is mary of the synthesis was given in our previous paper (1).…”
