Prepregnancy Body Mass Index and the Occurrence of Severe Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy

Abstract: Incidence of both mild and severe hypertensive disorders of pregnancy rises with increasing BMI. Escalating obesity rates may increase pregnancy hypertensive disorders and ensuing perinatal morbidity.
