Abstract:Preretinal hemorrhage as a cause of sudden vision loss is not often encountered in the clinical practice of an ophthalmologist. Diseases leading to preretinal hemorrhage include Valsalva retinopathy, Terson syndrome, hematologic disorders, trauma, and retinal macroaneurysms.
