Prescribing practices for antibiotic prophylaxis in patients with prosthetic joints

Abstract: Aims With the increasing number of patients with prosthetic joints, recommendations for antibiotic prophylaxis (AP) prior to dental procedures to prevent prosthetic joint infections (PJI) have changed.
