Prescription pattern of antiepileptic drugs in a tertiary care hospital

Abstract: Background: Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder which affects about 0.5% to 1% of the population. The older antiepileptic drugs like carbamazepine and phenytoin are the mainstay of treatment of epilepsy.
