“…Prostřednictvím naší služby jsme do konce ledna 2018 kontrolovali formální atributy časopisů, které vycházejí ze znaků predátorství sestavených Jeffrey Beallem (Beall, 2015a) Jak jsme ale uvedli již v úvodu, v nedávné minulosti byla publikována řada studií (Bagues et al, 2017;Macháček & Srholec, 2017;Shamseer et al, 2017;Somoza-Fernández et al, 2016) Elsevieru (Crawford, 2014), kontroverznímu zařazení časopisů od vydavatele Frontiers na jeho seznam (Bloudoff-Indelicato, 2015), či zevšeobecňujícímu uvažování o časopisech z rozvojových zemí jako predátorských (Berger & Cirasella, 2015). Nic to ale nemění na faktu, že nelze jednoduše obsah databází WoS, Scopus a MEDLINE PubMed používat jako ověřené whitelisty a že existuje reálné riziko zaslání článku do nevhodného časopisu.…”
