Pressure Feedback Control of Aerodynamic Loads on a Delta Wing in Transverse Gusts

Abstract: A feedback active flow control (AFC) scheme is studied for control of unsteady aerodynamic loads that act on a generic tailless delta wing during transverse gust encounters. The transverse gust and the roll angle of the wing create an unsteady roll moment. The trailing edge actuators generate unbalanced lift increments on the two sides of the model to control the roll moment.
