Abstract:The correlated electron material CePd 2 P 2 crystallizes in the ThCr 2 Si 2 structure and orders ferromagnetically at 29 K. Lai et al. [1] found evidence for a ferromagnetic quantum critical point induced by chemical compression via substitution of Ni for Pd. However, disorder effects due to the chemical substitution interfere with a simple analysis of the possible critical behavior. In the present work, we examine the temperature -pressure -magnetic field phase diagram of single crystalline CePd 2 P 2 to 25 G… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
