Presuming incapacity in anorexia nervosa is indefensible: A reply to Ip

Abstract: In a recent article, 1 Eric C. Ip argues that the decision reached in the case of Re E (Medical Treatment: Anorexia), heard by the Court of Protection for England and Wales, was ethically and legally correct.Ip agrees with the two main decisions reached in Re E:1.
