Pretreatment Optimization of Corn Stover with Subsequent Enzymatic Hydrolysis for Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) Production

Abstract: Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) is considered a potential substitute for conventional, non-biodegradable petroleum-based plastics. However, high production cost has been a major drawback to the commercialization of PHB.
