Prevaccination Antibody Screening and Immunization Program for Healthcare Personnel against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella in a Japanese Tertiary Care Hospital

Abstract: Susceptible healthcare personnel (HCP) are at high risk for acquiring and transmitting measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV). Presumptive evidence of immunity to MMRV is recommended for HCP. Overall, the average seroprotection to measles has been shown to be 92% (range 54–100%); 88% for mumps (69–97%); 91% for rubella (83–98%); 92% for VZV (71–99%); and 80% for HBV (58–96%) 7–14 .
